Forward Toledo

Forward Toledo, a project led by the City of Toledo Plan Commissions, is a comprehensive land-use plan that will serve as a guiding framework for planning efforts in Toledo.

This initiative aims to shape the future of our city by implementing land-use policies and strategies that better align with the community's needs and aspirations. By engaging residents, stakeholders, and experts, Forward Toledo seeks to create a sustainable, vibrant, and inclusive Toledo for generations to come.

Our Scope

Our dedicated team supported the Forward Toledo plan by providing engagement coordination, design services, and strategy development. In Phase 1, we prepared an engagement strategy to target different neighborhoods across the city, including location coordination for events and marketing efforts, advertising approaches on the ground and online (social media, web, etc.), and the creation of a land use activity. In Phase 2, we deployed these marketing and workshop efforts in geographically dispersed locations throughout the city, hosting interactive Land Use workshops at Glass City Metropark, Rogers High School, Main Branch Library, Kent Branch Library, Sanger Branch Library, and The Believe Center.
