Civic Center Mall Plan

Based on the robust system of existing Downtown parks, community input from the stakeholders & focus groups, and TDC’s professional opinion, a unique role for the Civic Center Mall was recommended.

This role would be to create a third “place” for Remembrance, Reflection and Respite. Remembrance of those who have served our country, reflection of their ultimate sacrifice, and respite for those under stress due to the challenges encountered in the buildings surrounding Civic Center Mall.
